Family support service

Virtual Viewing Room

For some families, it is not always possible for every relative to visit in person. Our Virtual Viewing Room allows invited family members to privately and securely view their loved one resting in our care, where appropriate and with family consent.

This service is optional and is arranged only with the agreement of the family.

A gentle, private option

We know that distance, illness, disability, travel, work or living overseas can make it impossible for everyone to be here in person. With the family’s agreement, we can arrange a private, secure viewing so that those who cannot attend are still able to spend a quiet moment with their loved one.

How we protect dignity and privacy

Only ever with consent

A viewing is arranged only when the family has given written consent. Nothing happens without your agreement.

Private and secure

Access is limited to the people you invite, using a secure login. There are no public links and the viewing is never searchable or shared online.

Respectful by design

The camera is focused gently and respectfully on your loved one resting in our care. Our staff prepare and check everything beforehand.

You stay in control

Access is time-limited, can be ended at any time, and recording is turned off by default. Our team controls the camera and can stop the viewing instantly.

Speak to our team about Virtual Viewing

If you would like to know whether a Virtual Viewing Room is right for your family, please talk to us. We will explain everything gently, answer your questions, and only proceed with your consent.

Already invited?
